The Michaels Organization paid Flagship Healthcare Properties $3 million for 4.5 acres in Mint Hill, where it plans an active-adult apartment community. The site sits next to Novant Health's Mint Hill hospital.
Site plans for the 55-plus multifamily project were filed with the city of Charlotte in October 2025. Zoning permits an age-restricted residential community.
The parcel is part of a larger 6-acre site. Flagship retained the remaining 1.5 acres for a planned 11,000-square-foot medical office building, a separate project.
