TriStar Centennial Women's & Children's $90M Expansion Underway

Construction is underway on the $90 million expansion of TriStar Centennial Women's & Children's Hospital at 2300 Patterson St, on the TriStar Centennial Medical Center campus near Centennial Park. HCA Healthcare is developing the project. A building permit valued at $22,391,247 has been issued; construction began in October 2026.

The expansion grows the pediatric emergency department from 7 to 12 treatment rooms, adds a dedicated pediatric CT imaging suite, and modernizes the 60-bed Level III NICU. Plans also call for larger pediatric operating rooms and upgraded pediatric patient rooms.

The project sits within the 741-bed, 43-acre TriStar Centennial Medical Center campus and follows a recent expansion of pediatric specialty staff in cardiology, neurosurgery, endocrinology, plastic surgery, oncology and general surgery. CEO Tom Ozburn announced the project October 19, 2026.

Completion is expected by December 31, 2028. Work will proceed alongside ongoing hospital operations.
