Former Bridgestone Plant Redevelopment Breaks Ground in La Vergne
Hamilton Development and Clarion Partners have started construction on a 1.5 million sq ft industrial park at the former Bridgestone plant in La Vergne.

Construction has begun on the former Bridgestone tire plant at 1201 Bridgestone Blvd in La Vergne, in Nashville's southeast industrial submarket. Nashville-based Hamilton Development Company and New York-headquartered Clarion Partners are jointly developing a master-planned Class A+ industrial park totaling 1.5 million square feet across 10 buildings.
The JV acquired the 135-acre site for $90.7 million from Bridgestone Americas. Demolition began with the October 15 announcement. Phase One calls for six buildings totaling more than 760,000 square feet, with completion targeted for Q2 2028. Full buildout is expected by June 30, 2028.

The park will accommodate tenants from 80,000 to 250,000 square feet, as build-to-suit or speculative space. The site plan includes a future retail building, rendered as a gas station and convenience store, at Waldron Road and Bridgestone Parkway, plus roughly 5 acres of commercial space. The project goes before the La Vergne Planning Commission in November.
The site sits near two I-24 exits and major employers including FedEx, Amazon, UPS and Coca-Cola. The plant opened in 1972 under Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and became Bridgestone's first U.S. manufacturing plant in 1982. Bridgestone closed it in July 2025, affecting nearly 700 employees.
