Signia by Hilton has been approved at 0 Commerce Street (319 Peabody Street), at Ninth Avenue North and Church Street in downtown Nashville. The 34-story, 418-foot tower will hold 817 rooms. Southwest Value Partners is the developer; HKS Architects is the designer.
The approval advances the project from proposed status. The floor count rose from 33 to 34 since earlier filings. The tower sits within Nashville Yards, the mixed-use district Southwest Value Partners is building on downtown's western edge.
Plans call for two grand ballrooms exceeding 17,000 square feet each, five levels of meeting rooms, social ballrooms, and a rooftop venue. Amenities include a spa, fitness center, pool deck, pool bar and grill, event lawn, club lounge, and executive suites. Food and beverage: a lobby bar, three-meal restaurant, and market. A porte cochere serves arrivals.
The hotel adds a convention-oriented component to Nashville Yards' office, retail, residential, and entertainment mix. Construction scheduling has not been detailed in available filings.
