The site sits in the rural southeastern corner of Williamson County along the U.S. 31A corridor, roughly 25 miles south of downtown Nashville. The area has drawn growing interest from residential builders as development pushes outward from Franklin and Nolensville.

The acquisition combines what had been tracked as separate assemblage entries into a single property. No development program, unit count, or timeline has been announced.

Any residential development would require rezoning or concept plan review by the county planning commission, including public hearings before final plat approval. College Grove has seen several large-lot subdivisions proposed in recent years targeting buyers seeking acreage.

Griffith has been active in residential development in Mt. Juliet and the eastern Nashville suburbs. The purchase extends that activity into Williamson County, one of Tennessee's fastest-growing counties.
