950-Unit Lincoln Tech Redevelopment Approved in East Nashville
Southern Land Company won approval for a 950-unit mixed-use redevelopment of the former Lincoln Tech campus at 1524 Gallatin Avenue in East Nashville.
Southern Land Company's redevelopment of the former Lincoln Tech campus at 1524 Gallatin Avenue, at the corner of Gallatin and Douglas avenues in East Nashville, has been approved. The plan calls for 950 residential units, a 99-room hotel, and seven floors across roughly 350,000 square feet. HCM is the architect.
The mixed-use project combines residential, hotel, and open space on a single site. It is the project's first appearance in this newsletter's tracking, and it has already moved from proposed to approved.
Amenities include public open space, a central lawn, and pedestrian-focused streetscapes. The historic Renraw/Warner House will be relocated on site and opened to the public.
The site sits on one of East Nashville's primary commercial corridors, served by WeGo bus routes between downtown and points northeast. Douglas Avenue connects it to surrounding residential neighborhoods.
