EastGroup Properties has proposed Avanza Logistics Center, a two-warehouse project totaling 371,463 square feet, at the northeast corner of West Okeechobee Road and Northwest 92nd Avenue in Hialeah.
An EastGroup affiliate paid $25.67 million for the 24.88-acre site, roughly $1 million per acre. The property is an industrial development site along West Okeechobee Road.
The Hialeah Gardens warehouse submarket posted 8.6% vacancy. The project would add new supply to that submarket.
