The Ardent Companies has proposed a mixed-use redevelopment of the Perimeter Pointe shopping center at 1155 Mount Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs. The project would rework portions of the roughly 31-acre site at Mount Vernon Highway and Abernathy Road. The existing center totals 360,000 square feet.
Ardent acquired the property from SITE Centers Corp. for approximately $48 million, closing December 31, 2025. JLL secured a $29.1 million acquisition loan. The site plan calls for two multifamily developments and new greenspace.
A vacant former HomeGoods box would be demolished for the greenspace. The existing LA Fitness will convert to an upscale Club Studio gym, and an unnamed specialty grocer is planned for a new outparcel along Mount Vernon Highway. Regal Cinemas, Office Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods, ROAM, Five Below, Chick-fil-A and Wendy's are expected to remain, alongside new restaurant and retail space.
The property connects onsite to the Sandy Springs MARTA station and sits near Georgia 400. More than 86,000 vehicles pass through the intersection daily.
