ORIX Corporation USA has acquired Akari Buckhead, a 391-unit luxury apartment tower at 3478 Lakeside Dr NE, from developer AMLI Residential. The October 2026 sale prompted a rebrand from AMLI Lenox to Akari Buckhead.

The 22-story high-rise includes an adjacent five-story mid-rise component and a 665-space parking deck. It sits above the 1.5-acre Marie Sims Park and was 96 percent occupied at sale.

Cooper Carry handled architecture, interior design, and branding. The LEED Gold building's amenities include a rooftop pool, fitness center, yoga room, club room, wine tasting room, game room, theater room, makers' space, bocce ball court, pet spa, coffee lounge, swing lounge, garden terraces, grilling stations, and a penthouse clubroom.
