Music City Loop, a 10-mile tunnel system by The Boring Company, is under construction to connect Downtown Nashville to BNA. The first segment is expected to open by the end of 2026.
The project will enhance urban infrastructure, improving accessibility and transportation efficiency between key city areas.
Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story called Music City Loop a mixed-use project and said the full link would be complete by December 31, 2026. It is a tunnel system, and only its first segment is expected to open by the end of 2026.
