The Atherton, a 346-unit mixed-use apartment community at 2100 South Blvd in Charlotte's South End, has sold for $176 million. The six-story building, also known as Novel Atherton, opened in 2019. It was developed by EDENS and Crescent Communities, with architecture by Dwell Design Studio.
The property sits within the Atherton Mill redevelopment, which added more than 115,000 square feet of retail to the corridor. The project also delivered a significant expansion of the Rail Trail multi-use path.
Amenities include a pool, fitness center, garage parking, and pet-friendly policies. The building combines residential units with ground-floor retail.
The property fronts South Boulevard along the Rail Trail, which parallels the LYNX Blue Line.
