The Planning Commission held a public hearing May 5, 2026 and recommended the ordinance and zoning map that day. Council had been expected to adopt it May 11 but instead sent it back over parking requirements. On May 20, the Commission rescinded its earlier recommendation and approved a revised version.

Council also requested technical fixes to condominium densities, parking language, and short-term rental rules. The ordinance remains proposed until the revised text returns to Council for approval.
