Greystar's 526-unit project at N I-35, with 366 income-restricted units, gets approval.
St. John Site Redevelopment, a 526-unit mixed-use project, approved at 7211 & 7309 N Interstate 35, Austin. Led by Greystar Development Central, LLC with the Housing Authority of the City of Austin, architecture by Meeks + Partners, Lemmo Architecture and Design, and TBG Partners.
Amenities include a pool, gym, community meeting spaces, parkland, walking paths, and a playground. Of the units, 366 are income-restricted, more than two-thirds of the total.
Strategically located for easy highway access, the site enhances residential offerings with its amenities.
Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story said all 526 units are affordable. Under the terms Council approved March 12, 366 of the 526 units are income-restricted.
