Firefly Aerospace has completed its 144,000-square-foot Cedar Park campus expansion across three buildings, anchored by a new 44,000-square-foot headquarters at 2203 Scottsdale Drive.

The campus includes the 45,000-square-foot facility at 5900 183A known as The Hive and a new 55,000-square-foot space at 1500 Volta Drive. Facilities house a spacecraft assembly line, avionics production, integrated environmental testing, and an innovation lab.

A new ISO Class 8 cleanroom, completed September 22, is four times the size of the company's existing cleanroom. Together, the two allow assembly of up to 12 lunar landers and orbital vehicles simultaneously.
Funding included an $8.2 million Texas Space Commission grant and a $1 million City of Cedar Park incentive tied to hiring 300 additional employees. Firefly became the first commercial company to land on the Moon with Blue Ghost Mission 1 in March 2025.
Separately, Frontera Space, founded by Firefly co-founder Tom Markusic, occupies roughly 27,500 square feet at La Jaita Business Park on Arrow Point Drive. The company has raised a $6 million pre-seed round and launched a $40 million seed round.
