Mixed-Use Rezoning Sought for Six Airport Blvd Parcels

Caliber Partners LLC, Anchor-SH, LLC and 5800 Airport, LLC have filed a rezoning and plan amendment request covering six parcels at 5768 1/2, 5800, 5826, 5900, 5900 1/2, and 5908 Airport Blvd. in the Brentwood/Highland Combined Neighborhood Planning Area, Council District 4. The request would change the land use designation from Commercial to Mixed Use.

The filings include neighborhood plan amendment NPA-2025-0018.02 and rezoning case C14-2025-0115. All three are Texas limited liability companies and are listed as owner and applicant. David Hartman of DuBois, Bryant & Campbell, L.L.P. serves as agent. The property lies within the Tannehill Branch Watershed.

The case was set for a Sept. 8, 2026 Planning Commission hearing, then postponed to Sept. 22 at the applicant's request for more neighborhood dialogue. It was previously continued from June 9, July 14, Aug. 11, and Aug. 25, 2026.

If the Planning Commission recommends approval, the case moves to City Council for final action. The mixed-use designation would permit residential and commercial uses on the assembled parcels.
