Anita Coy Apartments Rise in East Austin

Anita Coy Apartments, a 675-unit mixed-use project, is under construction at 4900 Gonzales Street, Austin. Developed by The NRP Group, it's located in East Austin.

The project includes 1,080 parking spaces and amenities like a resort-style pool, fitness center, co-working lounge, community lounges, green space, playground, and public art. Of the units, 338 are designated affordable housing. The first phase, 341 units, began construction in February, and the 334-unit second phase is expected to start later this year. Completion of the full project is slated for the end of 2028.

Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story said the 675-unit project would be complete by December 31, 2027. Only the 341-unit first phase had started, and the second phase is scheduled to finish at the end of 2028.
