The Gathering at South Forsyth, a 2,400-unit mixed-use development, is approved by Forsyth County for 1595 Union Hill Road, an Alpharetta address in unincorporated Forsyth County, Georgia. Spanning 1.6 million sq ft, it is developed by Krause Sports & Entertainment with architecture by SCI Architects.
Features include 500 hotel rooms, an arena, community center, walking trails, and green spaces. Public safety facilities include a fire station and sheriff's precinct. Completion is slated for December 31, 2033.
Design elements such as water features enhance the area's aesthetic and recreational value. This large-scale project adds significant amenities to the Alpharetta region.
Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story said Alpharetta approved the project. Forsyth County approved it. The site has an Alpharetta mailing address but is in unincorporated Forsyth County.
