Medley Johns Creek Opens Phase 1 at McGinnis Ferry

Medley Johns Creek, a $560 million mixed-use project at McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway, held its Phase 1 grand opening October 29, 2026. Toro Development Company is developing the 43-acre project, with architecture by NELSON Worldwide.

The redevelopment of the former 350,000-square-foot State Farm Insurance campus includes 750 apartments and 133 townhomes built by Empire Communities, a 150-key boutique hotel, 150,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, and 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office space. A 25,000-square-foot central plaza anchors the site.

The hotel will be developed and operated by Mainsail Lodging & Development and is scheduled to open in 2028. Phase 1 tenants include Trader Joe's, Shake Shack and Sephora, with Warby Parker among the project's later retail signings. Construction broke ground January 15, 2025, financed by a $158 million construction loan from Banco Inbursa and equity from Ascentris.

Phase 2, called Encore, broke ground April 14, 2026, backed by a $90 million construction loan to TDC and Ascentris. It debuts in 2027. Medley is part of Johns Creek's 192-acre Town Center vision anchored by City Hall.
