Centennial Yards Rises in Atlanta's Gulch

Centennial Yards, a $5 billion mixed-use district on 50 acres, is under construction at The Gulch in downtown Atlanta, near State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Its first residential tower, the 19-story, 304-unit Mitchell at 250 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, opened in September 2025. Developed by Centennial Yards Company, a partnership between CIM Group and the City of Atlanta, with Hawks owner Tony Ressler involved, the project is designed by TVS Architects, Goode Van Slyke Architecture, and Gensler.

The first phase also includes a boutique hotel of nearly 300 rooms. A 6,000-space parking facility will serve residents and visitors. Completion is slated for December 31, 2030. Certifications targeted include Energy Star, GRESB, BOMA, and Green Seal, underscoring its sustainability focus.
