The final closing occurred Sept. 22 and was announced Oct. 1: a 0.2-acre vacant lot on English Street purchased for approximately $550,000. Land assembly required nearly 200 closings totaling more than $200 million across 270-plus acres, including roughly 90 property purchases and 230 easements. Individual acquisitions ranged from a 15-square-foot parcel to a 65-acre tract.

Construction on Segment 4 began Oct. 30, 2025, with Section 4A expected complete by mid-2027. The 4.3-mile Northwest Trail will connect Blandtown to Lindbergh and Morosgo, with a multi-use trail, a pedestrian bridge over Northside Drive, lighting, security cameras, and a pavilion.

About 80% of the loop is complete; the finished trail will connect more than 45 neighborhoods. To date, 4,555 affordable units have been created or preserved within the Beltline Tax Allocation District.
