Atlanta Urban Development Corporation has proposed the Thomasville Heights Redevelopment (Phase I), a 121-unit residential project on McDonough Boulevard between Welch Street and Moreland Avenue in southeast Atlanta. The project, now in proposed status, follows a land sale tied to the site.

Plans call for green space and restored access to fresh food and services. At least one unit is designated affordable, a change from earlier records showing none.

The address, previously listed only as Thomasville Heights, has been narrowed to the block between Welch Street and Moreland Avenue. The corridor has seen limited new investment in recent years.

Next steps include site plan review and permitting through the City of Atlanta. The Phase I designation suggests additional phases.
