Ray Nashville, a 367-unit mixed-use development, is under construction at 601 Lafayette St, Nashville. The 32-floor project spans 575,000 sq ft, led by Ray and VeLa Development Partners, with designs by Johnston Marklee & Associates and Lamar Johnson Collaborative.
The site includes 396 parking spaces and aims for completion by 2027. Amenities: indoor-outdoor fitness center, yoga studio, spa, sunken lounge with fireplace, outdoor pool, kitchens, co-working spaces, and a gallery. Select units feature balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and built-in furniture.
Pursuing LEED Silver certification, the project emphasizes sustainability. Additional features: dog wash station, public and private parking, and a sunken conversation pit.
Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story's headline said Ray Nashville broke ground. Construction began in late 2024, when Metro issued the tower's frame and foundation permit.
