Oracle Pedestrian Bridge Proposed Across Cumberland River
Oracle America proposes a 75-foot-tall pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River, linking the East Bank to Germantown, with design by Foster + Partners.
The River North Pedestrian Bridge, also known as the Oracle Pedestrian Bridge, would cross the Cumberland River from River North Boulevard and Cowan Street on the East Bank to Adams and Taylor Streets in Germantown. Oracle America, Inc. is developing the project, with design by Foster + Partners.
The 75-foot-tall bridge will serve bicycles and pedestrians, with a pavilion at the west landing and restaurant space at the Germantown landing. It will connect to the Cumberland River Greenway.

The project remains in the proposed stage, with completion expected December 31, 2028—revised from a previously reported August 2028.
The crossing would link Germantown directly to the East Bank, where Oracle is building its Nashville campus. The East Bank landing sits along River North Boulevard, a corridor central to the broader East Bank redevelopment effort.
