Rezoning a 30.9-acre parcel east of SW 137 Avenue, Miami, for light industrial use was approved by the Miami-Dade County Commission on Feb. 19, 2026. The area, south of SW 288 Street and north of SW 312 Street, can hold up to 700,000 sq ft of warehouse space, which may include self-storage. SIP Development Group, LLC leads the project.

Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story said the rezoning was proposed and described 700,000 sq ft of mixed-use industrial space. The Miami-Dade County Commission approved the rezoning on Feb. 19, 2026, and a covenant caps the site at 700,000 sq ft of warehouse and self-storage space.
