The Housing Committee deferred the item on July 14, 2026; it is now set for a November 17, 2026 agenda. Concerns were raised about the City of Hialeah's High Line plans and a lack of consultation with Hialeah Mayor Bryan Calvo. The agreement includes provisions protecting the High Line and requiring collaboration on its viability through the parcel, but no financial contribution to the High Line.
