Grapevine Village Hotel Set to Break Ground Nov. 15
Trammell Crow's 248-unit Grapevine Village, anchored by a 222-room Sandman Signature Hotel, starts hotel construction Nov. 15 near Grapevine Mills.

Grapevine Village, a mixed-use project at 2800 and 3421 Grapevine Mills Parkway near Grapevine Mills, will break ground on its anchor hotel Nov. 15, 2026. Trammell Crow Company is developing the site with Northland Properties. The project includes 248 apartments and up to 750 hotel rooms across three hotels.
Grapevine City Council approved the project June 2, 2026, after denying it May 19 and rejecting a 296-unit version in 2024. The approved plan calls for 248 apartments in 11 three- and four-story buildings: 8 efficiency, 162 one-bedroom, 49 two-bedroom and 29 three-bedroom units. The $38 million multifamily component includes an amenity and leasing office, with construction scheduled Feb. 1, 2027 to Feb. 1, 2028.

The anchor is a six-story, 222-room Sandman Signature Hotel totaling 135,735 square feet, with a 275-seat Chop Steakhouse and Bar, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, a fitness center and outdoor pool. The other two hotels are planned for a later date.
The project carries an estimated $2.9 million annual tax impact to the city. The site is subject to Simon Property Group deed restrictions and an airport noise map limiting residential uses.
