Digital Ranch LLC won approval for a 3.9 million square foot data center campus north of FM 875 in Midlothian, including four on-site power stations.
Midlothian approved the Digital Ranch Data Center Campus on a site north of FM 875, east of V.V. Jones Road, and south of RailPort Business Park. Digital Ranch LLC is developing the 3.9 million square foot industrial project, with a maximum height of 100 feet. The project moved from proposed to approved in its first appearance in our tracking.

At 3.9 million square feet, it ranks among the largest single development approvals in the Midlothian area. The 100-foot height allowance exceeds typical industrial construction in southern Ellis County.
Plans include four on-site power generating stations, a closed-loop water cooling system, and a private recycling facility. Landscape buffers and screening walls will buffer the site from surrounding properties.
The site sits along the FM 875 corridor, directly south of the existing RailPort Business Park, within one of the faster-growing industrial submarkets in southern DFW.
