Edged Energy Outpost Data Center Approved in Fort Worth
Edged Energy's 488,770 sq ft Outpost data center at 9999 Chapin School Road in Fort Worth is approved, with construction starting November 2026.

The Edged Energy Outpost data center campus is approved at 9999 Chapin School Road in far west Fort Worth. Edged, part of Endeavour, is developing the project through owner entity EDC Fort Worth LLC, with design by MG2 Architecture Corporation.
State filings detail a two-phase campus. Building 1 totals 488,770 square feet at a $300 million construction cost, with work starting July 2026 and completion set for late 2027. Building 2, at 485,947 square feet and another $300 million, starts November 1, 2026 and finishes by April 2028. Total campus investment is approximately $1.1 billion across roughly 196 MW of capacity.
The 186-acre site was acquired from PMB Capital Investments and rezoned for industrial and commercial use in June 2025. The facility will use proprietary waterless closed-loop cooling, saving an estimated 769 million gallons of water annually, and will operate below 30 decibels at property lines. A dedicated Oncor substation is planned on site, with ERCOT supporting the project.
The project has drawn local scrutiny. Edged withdrew its city tax abatement request in May 2026 after resident opposition. In August 2026, Fort Worth began a 90-day process toward a data center development moratorium.
