The two-phase process will select a development partner and project concept. Plans call for housing, retail, restaurants, office space and a hotel. The site holds 672 surface parking spaces; roughly 125 must remain for transit riders.

A pre-response conference is set for November 5, 2026, with written questions due November 13. The City of Dallas is rezoning the site for mixed-use, with new zoning expected by summer 2027. Groundbreaking is planned for 2027, with construction targeted to start December 31, 2027.

Westmoreland Station is served by six DART bus routes, GoLink on-demand service and the Red Line. The project joins DART's TOD portfolio, which includes Palladium Buckner, SMU/Mockingbird, Trinity Mills and Addison Junction stations.
