Queensbridge Collective Tower 2 Under Construction in South End

The second tower of the Queensbridge Collective development is under construction at 1111 S Tryon St in South End. The 43-story, 304-unit mixed-use tower totals 1,125,000 square feet. Woodfield Development is the developer, with architecture by Goettsch Partners. Recent permits include one valued at $53.75 million and several ranging from $3.9 million to $4.2 million.

The tower rises approximately 656 feet, taller than the Phase 1 Vivian tower, and is part of the $725 million two-tower development. Construction began in September 2025, with completion expected June 30, 2028. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.

The building includes two-story, townhouse-style penthouses on the 24th and 25th floors. Amenities include a fitness center, rooftop pool, resident lounge, outdoor deck with basketball and pickleball courts, and a steakhouse. Moore & Van Allen has signed a 15-year lease for 206,000 square feet across the top nine floors as anchor tenant. Other confirmed office tenants include EY, Pamlico Capital, and Pacific Life. Construction debt comes from an Apollo affiliate, with equity from RXR.

The site sits next to the Carson station on the LYNX Blue Line along the South Tryon corridor.
