Waterloo Greenway Phase II, The Confluence, is complete at Waller Creek, between 4th Street and Lady Bird Lake in Downtown Austin. Developed by Waterloo Greenway Conservancy and the City of Austin, with architecture by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates.

Features include three lattice pedestrian bridges, an 800-foot boardwalk, and a continuous off-street bike and pedestrian trail. Public spaces like Lagoon Overlook, Leaf Deck, Lakeview Terrace, and Explorers Garden enhance the area. The project also connects the creek at 4th Street via Cypress Grove and Trailhead Plaza.

Certified by the Sustainable SITES Initiative, it underscores a commitment to sustainable landscaping and design. Initially slated for completion by June 6, 2026, the project is now finished.
