TownLake YMCA Mixed-Use Redevelopment, a 750-unit project, is proposed for 1100 West Cesar Chavez Street, Austin. It includes a new 110,000 sq ft YMCA and will rise 425 feet. Developed by MP-Austin, an affiliate of Millennium Partners, with Greater Austin YMCA.
Amenities include Tomorrow Academy preschool, mental health services, a theater, rooftop garden, art studios, coworking, meeting spaces, a natatorium, and a play area. It aims for a City of Austin Green Building Program 3-star rating and includes 90 affordable units.
The location offers easy downtown access, marking a significant development in the area.
Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story gave a completion date of January 1, 2026 and said the project covers 110,000 sq ft. The project was still in zoning review with no completion date set, and 110,000 sq ft is the size of the new YMCA.
