The Lawrence Hotel Opens in Downtown Lawrenceville
The Lawrence Hotel, a 120-room Tapestry Collection property at 120 E. Crogan St. in downtown Lawrenceville, has opened. NorthPointe Hospitality developed the $40 million project.

The Lawrence Hotel has opened at 120 E. Crogan St. in downtown Lawrenceville. The four-story, 120-room property is the first upscale, boutique, full-service hotel in Gwinnett County. NorthPointe Hospitality Management & Development developed the project, with architecture by LS3P and interiors by Atlanta-based C+TC Design Studio.
The hotel operates under Hilton's Tapestry Collection brand. The $40 million project occupies a full city block that previously held a parking lot and two commercial structures.

Amenities include two dining concepts: Bellfire, serving Mediterranean-meets-Southern cuisine, and Old Nick's, an open-air cocktail bar. Executive Chef Dominic Simpson leads food and beverage. The property also offers a fitness center, an outdoor courtyard, more than 6,000 square feet of event and meeting space, and 24-hour valet parking.
Groundbreaking was held December 12, 2019. The attached 380-space public parking deck was completed in early 2021 at a cost of $8.7 million. The hotel opened August 28, 2026, steps from the Aurora Theatre and the Lawrenceville Arts Center.
