The Berkeley Under Construction at 1500 Northside Drive
The Berkeley, a 21,400-square-foot adaptive reuse of the former Myers Carpet building in Berkeley Park, is under construction at 1500 Northside Drive.

The Berkeley, a 21,400-SF mixed-use conversion of the former Myers Carpet building at 1500 Northside Drive NW, is under construction. The Atlantic Companies is developing the project with Gensler as architect. Completion is targeted for mid-2027.
The adaptive reuse of a 1956 building will include roughly 21,400 SF of commercial space, with the bulk reserved for retail, food and beverage, and showroom uses, plus about 4,000 SF of creative office. The Atlantic Companies paid $11.2 million for the property in 2023.

Construction began in August 2026. A design highlight is a covered breezeway with skylights that will bisect the building, creating a new common area off the Beltline that links to storefronts. Kimley-Horn is civil engineer, Peter Constructive is general contractor, and Westbridge is development consultant. SRS Real Estate Partners handles retail leasing; Capital Real Estate Group handles office leasing.
The building sits on the Atlanta Beltline's Northwest Trail, Segment 3, adjacent to Monday Night Brewing's The Grove taproom, which opened in 2025. Segment 3B, which will include a pedestrian bridge over Northside Drive, broke ground September 10, 2026. Branding draws on Berkeley Park and uses the existing Northside Drive silo as its symbol.
