Thor Equities Proposes 350K SF Data Center in Bartow County

Thor Equities has proposed the Kingston Technology Hub, a 350,000-square-foot data center off Georgia State Route 293 near Wellons Road and Law Road in Kingston, Bartow County. Completion is targeted for December 31, 2030.

The project, also tracked as the Thor Equities Bartow County Data Center, sits along the GA-293 corridor in a rural stretch northwest of the Atlanta metro core. At 350,000 square feet, it would rank among the larger single data center proposals in the northwest Georgia corridor, where demand has grown along major power and fiber routes.

GA-293 connects Kingston to Cartersville to the north and U.S. Route 411 to the south; Interstate 75 is reachable via local connectors through Cartersville.

The project remains in proposed status. Next steps include site plan review, zoning and permitting approvals, and utility infrastructure coordination.
