Apex Atlanta Proposed for Former Atlanta Financial Center
Banyan Street Capital proposes a mixed-use redevelopment of the 914,774 SF former Atlanta Financial Center at 3343 Peachtree Rd NE in Buckhead.

Apex Atlanta, a mixed-use redevelopment of the former Atlanta Financial Center, is proposed for 3343 Peachtree Rd NE in Buckhead. The campus spans three interconnected towers totaling 914,774 square feet on 13.1 acres atop Georgia 400. Banyan Street Capital is developing the project.
Banyan Street acquired the campus in July 2025 from a Sumitomo Corp. affiliate for about $45 million. Peachtree Group originated a $42 million floating-rate acquisition loan with a 36-month initial term plus a 12-month extension. The property was previously at the center of the Nightingale Properties crowdfunding scandal, in which more than $60 million was diverted from investors.
Plans call for converting the 284,000-square-foot south tower into about 260 residential units. The 19-story, roughly 386,000-square-foot central tower is planned as trophy office space with a new curtain wall, skybridge removal, a tiered town hall and a rooftop skydeck. The 241,000-square-foot north tower is undergoing a $4 million renovation with a new lobby, café and elevated restaurant space.
Campus amenities include ground-floor food and beverage, a new lobby and 16,000 square feet of speculative office suites. Newmark's Craig Kalinowski, Brad Kirschner and Stewart Thrash will lease the office component.
