Sylvan Road Redevelopment, a 3032-unit mixed-use project, is approved for 1215 & 1313 Sylvan Road SW, Atlanta. It includes about 716,000 sq ft of commercial and restaurant space and is designed by Perkins&Will. Renewal Development Group leads the project after taking control of the property from entities tied to Abebe Ventures, which originated it. Abebe disputes the takeover for five parcels.
Features include 574 affordable units. Amenities: pocket parks, open space, streetscape improvements, active and passive recreation spaces. Completion is set for December 31, 2035.

Correction, Oct. 22, 2026: An earlier version of this story gave 716,000 sq ft as the project's size, gave a 225-foot height and named Abebe Ventures as developer. The 716,000 sq ft is commercial and restaurant space, no height has been disclosed, and Renewal Development Group leads the project.
