Radiant Church Converts Former iHeartMedia Building on Gandy
Radiant Church is converting the former iHeartMedia building at 4002 W. Gandy Blvd. into a 49,000-square-foot South Tampa campus with a 1,400-seat auditorium.

Radiant Church is under construction on its South Tampa campus at 4002 W. Gandy Blvd., converting the former iHeartMedia building into a 49,000-square-foot facility. Alfonso Architects is the designer; Barr & Barr is the general contractor.

A $12.5 million building permit has been issued. Interior demolition began July 20, 2026, kicking off an 18-to-20-month buildout. Plans include a 1,400-seat auditorium, a Radiant Kids space, and a lobby and cafe. The church is under contract on an additional 3.5 acres for surface parking, avoiding a $10-plus million garage. Services will continue at Britton Plaza until the center is redeveloped, expected in 2027, with the church targeting a summer 2027 opening.

Radiant bought the building for $15.5 million, debt-free. The total project vision is $47.5 million, with $27.8 million funded to date. The church occupies about 6 acres of the 12-acre Gandy property; Alliant Development is planning medical or retail on the remainder.
