EDGE Collective Tower Under Construction in St. Petersburg

EDGE Collective's 20-story apartment tower is under construction at 11th Street South and 1st Avenue South in St. Petersburg. The PTM Partners project includes 330 units and 17,000 to 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Storyn Studio is the architect; Balfour Beatty is the general contractor.

Sitework began in August, with the site fenced and cleared for demolition of the former Dr. BBQ restaurant and neighboring buildings. Production pile installation was expected to begin in September or early October, pending final coordination with Duke Energy on utility relocations, followed by vertical construction. PTM secured a $125 million construction loan from a GID affiliate in September. Separately, a $12 million deed transferred from Collective Edge LLC to Edge Collection I LLC in October; the sale covered the three-story building at 1246 Central Avenue and the Moxy hotel's ground-floor retail space, not the tower site.

Phase I, a 163-room Moxy Hotel, was completed in 2024. The tower's amenities include a seventh-floor deck, resort-style pool, fitness center, spa, media room, and co-working space.

Completion is targeted for late 2028.
