Lockheed Martin plans a two-story, 75,000-square-foot industrial building behind its Oldsmar campus at 3655 Tampa Road.
The company filed an application with the Southwest Florida Water Management District, per an October 20, 2026 report. The existing campus totals roughly 225,000 square feet.
The site houses Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems operations, including helicopters and integrated air and missile defense work. The company's larger Tampa Bay hub is a manufacturing facility in Pinellas Park.
A 2022 plan for the site called for a separate 45,000-square-foot building tied to converting former warehouse space into manufacturing.
