Swedish Hill Apartments, a 7-unit multifamily property at 1009 E. 16th St in East Austin, has sold. The three-story building contains approximately 3,819 square feet on a 0.1407-acre lot at E. 16th and Navasota.
Built in 1985 by the original owner, the sale concludes 40 years of ownership. It was listed at $1,300,000; the sale price was not disclosed. Muskin Elam Group represented the original developer in the deal, its fourth transaction in the past two months.
The buyer is a tax-exchange investor making its first Austin acquisition. The lot is zoned LR-MU-NP, allowing residential, small-scale retail, professional office, or pet services uses.
The property is walkable to Dell Medical School, the State Capitol, Moody Center, UT, and downtown.
