PulseForge $20M Industrial Expansion Approved in Round Rock
PulseForge won approval for a $20 million expansion at 400 Parker Drive in Round Rock, with a 20,000-square-foot expansion space identified and 60 jobs due by 2031.

Round Rock City Council and the Transportation and Economic Development Corporation approved an economic development agreement Oct. 22 for PulseForge's $20 million expansion at 400 Parker Drive, Ste. 1130. PulseForge has identified a 20,000-square-foot space adjacent to the company's existing 56,000-square-foot facility, though it is also evaluating developing a new manufacturing facility elsewhere in Round Rock. The address carries an Austin postal designation but sits within Round Rock city limits. PulseForge, Inc. is the developer.
The agreement requires at least $20 million in investment: $6 million in real property improvements and $14 million in business personal property and equipment, split into two $10 million phases due Dec. 31, 2029 and Dec. 31, 2031.

PulseForge must retain roughly 50 existing employees and add 60 primary jobs averaging at least $100,000 annually. In exchange, the city will pay up to $600,000 in Type B sales-tax-funded grants: $250,000 in 2030 and $350,000 in 2032, tied to milestones and subject to clawbacks.
PulseForge traces its roots to Austin's NovaCentrix and makes photonic and flashlamp-based tools for semiconductor packaging, including high-bandwidth memory. The Round Rock Chamber is helping the company scout other properties should it choose to build elsewhere.
