S2 Capital has sold The Bowie, a 350-unit garden-style community at 8800 Dunwoody Place in Sandy Springs, to an undisclosed buyer in a deal arranged by Newmark.
The Bowie, a 350-unit garden-style community at 8800 Dunwoody Place in Sandy Springs, has sold. Dallas-based S2 Capital sold the property to an undisclosed buyer in August 2026. The community sits on roughly 29.5 acres in the North Sandy Springs submarket.
Built in 1980, the property has 25 buildings and was 86% occupied at sale. It has received roughly $8 million in capital improvements since 2018.
Units range from 544 to 1,400 square feet in one- and two-bedroom layouts.
Newmark's Brooks Colquitt, James Wilber, David Gutting, Derrick Bloom, and Hunter Amos arranged the sale.
