The Kennedy at Barge, a 130-unit apartment development, is under construction at 2376 Barge Road SW in southwest Atlanta. Radiant Development Partners is developing the four-story building on a 2.7-acre site.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held, attended by District 11 Councilmember Wayne Martin and Council President Marci Collier Overstreet. Completion is expected in 2027.

All 130 units are affordable at 50%, 60%, and 80% of area median income, preserved for 30 years. The $44 million project was described as a $40 million investment at financial close. The community will offer modern amenities and sustainable design. The project is expected to create 200 jobs over its 2025 to 2027 timeline.

Financing partners include Regions Affordable Housing/JPMorganChase, Advantage Business Capital, Invest Atlanta, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta's TogetherATL Fund, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and Regions Real Estate Capital Markets. The transit-oriented development sits along MARTA's future Campbellton Road bus rapid transit line, the Rapid C-Line.
