Lantower Bayside, a 271-unit residential community at 16485 U.S. Highway 19 N in Largo, is complete. The project was part of an $84.3 million buyout in which H&R REIT acquired Lantower REDT's 70.9% stake in the property and Lantower Sunrise in Kissimmee. The four-story building totals 363,136 square feet. Lantower Residential developed the project, with architecture by FORUM.
The 8.4-acre site sits at the southeast corner of Whitney Road and U.S. Highway 19 N, a density of 32.3 units per acre. The single Type V-A wood-frame building contains roughly 261,000 square feet of net rentable space. Unit mix: 14 studios, 140 one-bedrooms, 101 two-bedrooms, and 16 three-bedrooms.
The land sold for $6 million in late 2019 and previously operated as an RV and boat sales facility. Construction concluded in early Q3 2026 under budget, and the property opened mid-2026. The combined Largo and Kissimmee projects carried an original construction budget of roughly $210 million. McAdams handled civil engineering, land planning, and surveying.
Amenities include a pool and deck, multi-level fitness studio with recovery zones, yoga and spin studio, co-working space, clubhouse, and dog park. The property also offers surface parking, detached garages, smart home technology, and an onsite Bayside Market and Convenience store.
