A two-story office building at 255 French Landing Drive in MetroCenter has sold for $4.1 million, or about $228 per square foot. The 18,000-square-foot modernist structure sits on one acre and opened in 1989.

The buyer is the Leigh Ann Shockey Trust, per the Davidson County Register of Deeds. Seller Lynn Bennett founded Stage Post in 1978 and created Southern Productions Inc. in 1987 to buy the raw land for $250,000. Bennett listed the property in 2023 at $6.5 million.

The building houses Stage Post, one of Nashville's longest-operating video production companies. Stage Post occupies about one-third of the space and will remain after the sale. The property includes four studios, two reception areas, three editing rooms, two green rooms, two makeup and dressing rooms, a conference room, and a control and tech room.

The property is zoned IWD and has operated as a film and television studio, with conversion potential under that zoning.
