Cousins Properties Inc. bought the parking garage at 200 South College Street for $85 million in May 2020. The 11-story, 1,520-space deck serves the adjacent 22-story BB&T Center office tower in Uptown.

Completed in 1975 and designed by Little & Associates, the 300-foot tower contains 567,865 square feet of office space. Second-floor skybridges connect it to Overstreet Mall.

Arden Group sold the office tower to an undisclosed buyer for a reported $115 million in January 2021. The property sits near the 3rd Street/Convention Center light rail station.

Correction, Nov. 6, 2026: An earlier version of this story said BB&T Properties LLC bought the office tower in January 2021. BB&T Properties LLC was the Arden Group entity that owned the building and sold the garage to Cousins. Arden sold the tower to a buyer that was not disclosed.
