62 East Under Construction at 62 East Avenue

62 East, a 57-story, 215-unit condominium tower, is under construction at 62 East Avenue in the Rainey Street District. The mixed-use project will rise 684 feet and total 513,123 square feet. Pearlstone Partners is developing, with architecture by STG Design. A shell building permit was issued May 8, 2026.

Construction began November 4, 2024. A TDLR filing lists an estimated cost of $154.8 million and completion on November 8, 2027. The tower sits on a roughly quarter-acre assembly at 62 East Avenue, with 13 floors of podium parking beneath the residences.

Units will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. Amenities include a rooftop pool, 24-hour concierge, fitness center, resident clubhouse, co-working space, outdoor grill and cabana, and a dog park. At completion, it will be the tallest condominium in the Rainey Street District.

The project includes 10 on-site affordable units at 80% of median family income, plus $808,000 in affordable housing fees. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the density bonus in April 2023.
