Goldenrod Breaks Ground on 226-Unit Van Zandt in Fort Worth

Goldenrod Companies has started construction on The Van Zandt, a 226-unit, 10-story mixed-use project at 2816 W. 7th Street in Fort Worth's Cultural District.

The Van Zandt, a 226-unit mixed-use project from Goldenrod Companies, is under construction at 2816 W. 7th Street in Fort Worth's Cultural District. The site was previously tracked as proposed. Holland Basham Architects is the designer.

The 10-story, 120-foot building totals 486,400 square feet with 532 parking spaces. Completion is expected by the end of 2027.

Amenities include a rooftop pool and lounge, private cabanas, a fire pit, a grilling station, a fitness center, a media room, work-from-home spaces, an indoor/outdoor lounge, bike storage, a dog wash, an outdoor amenity deck, and a large-format projection screen.

The site sits on the West 7th corridor, which links downtown Fort Worth to the Cultural District and museum campus and remains one of the city's most active multifamily submarkets.
