Civic Center Senior Housing Breaks Ground in Atlanta

Civic Center Senior Housing, a 148-unit development, is under construction at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center site at Pine Street NE & Ralph McGill Boulevard, Atlanta. Located in the Old Fourth Ward, it's developed by Civic Center Partners, a joint venture of The Michaels Organization, Sophy Companies, and Republic Properties, with architecture by Goode Van Slyke Architecture.

The six-story building will include 148 affordable units, 74 parking spaces, and amenities such as a fitness center, computer lounge, arts and crafts room, community/social service office, lobby, package room, laundry room, community room, public café, and exterior gathering areas. Completion is slated for September 30, 2027.

Sustainability certifications pursued include Earthcraft, Energy Star, Zero Energy Ready Homes, and LEED for Neighborhood Development, underscoring the project's energy efficiency and eco-friendly practices.
